ESCAUX has a unique architecture, where the management of your communication is split off from the operational part. The ESCAUX appliance at each site guarantee your communication stays operational. But the real brains are the central ESCAUX services system. Using the ESCAUX services, you can configure a complex system with many appliances as if it was just one communication system. Thanks to our central management service, you can configure advanced features of your ESCAUX system on all sites at once. All you need is a few mouse clicks, just as if it was a single site setup !
With the unique ESCAUX management service, you can also easily configure a setup for redundancy and reliability. ESCAUX supports backup servers in active-standby, active-active or N+1 redundant setups:
- Active-standby: a second server is configured and ready, but not active. Only when the main server has a problem, the standby server will be activated.
- Active-active: two active servers that are each other's backup
- N+1 redundancy: if your company needs three ESCAUX appliances, it's sufficient to add one extra appliance to have a redundant system. You do not need a backup for each appliance. N+1 setups are the pinnacle of operational efficiency and unique to the ESCAUX architecture.
These advanced redundancy features are easily configured in ESCAUX central management service and allow you to implement your communication in accordance with your Business Continuation Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
