1. Acceptance tests for a standalone environment

Requirements

Prepare two extensions on the SOP: A and B. They must be able to call each other. Configure A with an Eyebeam phone. Configure the other one (B) with another phone of your choice.

1.1 Originate a call
  • Take A and call B.
  • Check that phone B rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.

1.2 Receive a call
  • Take B and call A.
  • Check that phone A rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.

2. Acceptance tests for an active-active environment

Requirements

You will need a cluster of 3 SOPs:
  • SOP Alpha,
  • SOP Beta,
  • SOP Gamma.

Prepare two extensions on the cluster: A and B. They must be able to call each other.
  • Configure extension A where SOP1 is 'SOP Alpha' and SOP2 is 'SOP Beta'. Assign an Eyebeam phone to extension A where SOP1 is 'SOP Alpha' and SOP2 is 'SOP Beta'.
  • Configure extension B with another phone of your choice on 'SOP Gamma'.

2.1 Originate a call
  • Take A and call B.
  • Check that phone B rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.

2.2 Receive a call
  • Take B and call A.
  • Check that phone A rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.

2.3 Failover test originate a call
  • Turn off SOP Alpha.
  • Wait for the registration period to expire.
  • Take A and call B.
  • Check that phone B rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.

2.4 Failover test receive a call
  • Turn off SOP Alpha.
  • Wait for the registration period to expire.
  • Take B and call A.
  • Check that phone A rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.

2.5 Recovery test originate a call
  • Turn off SOP Alpha.
  • Wait for the registration period to expire.
  • Back on SOP Alpha.
  • Wait for the registration period to expire.
  • Take A and call B.
  • Check that phone B rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.

2.6 Recovery test receive a call
  • Turn off SOP Alpha.
  • Wait for the registration period to expire.
  • Back on SOP Alpha.
  • Wait for the registration period to expire.
  • Take B and call A.
  • Check that phone A rings.
  • Check that you can hear correctly.
