Administrator Guide: SNOM Directory Service

Introduction

Integrate the Escaux UCS internal directory in the Snom 3XX and 8XX series phones

Requirements

• Install Snom phone support 1.9+
• Configure Snom resource 2.2+

Installation

In the resource configuration, set the mode of the "Directory" key to "ActionURL". Then you can specify the url the Snom phone will request:

http://sop_ip_address/snom/Dir.php?mode=all&display_number=no

'mode' defines the way the addressbook search has to be done. If 'mode' is not set, the default value is 'all'. options:

• 'all': will ask to enter first name and last name, the search will be done using both
• 'fn': will make a search based on the first name, only the first name will be asked
• 'ln': will make a search based on the last name, only the last name will be asked

'display_number' defines the way to render the contact's info on the phone's screen. If 'display_number' is not set, the default value is 'no'. options:

• 'yes': will look like (<number>) <ln> <fn>
• 'no': will look like <Tel:|Mob:> <ln> <fn>

You can use the arrow keys to browse through the results. Press the confirmation button to call the displayed contact.
