Upgrade notes

Version 2.2.0

When you upgrade to a version >= 2.2.0, manual action by Escaux support could be required for existing baseline3 vsops. Please contact support for more information.

Version 4.0.0

Take good care when upgrading to version 4.0.0. Specifically, make sure the dependencies are satisfied (correct kernel version and vSOP resource version).

Upgrading to version 4.0.0 involves upgrading major components. In order to upgrade, you need to follow a specific procedure if you want to provide a clean upgrade for the vSOP's:

  • Stop all vSOP's;
  • Upgrade;
  • Reboot the vSOP host;
  • Start vSOP's again.

This procedure will make sure that your existing vSOP's will not be terminated abruptly.

Version 4.0.2

To have the IP forwarding disabled requires you to reboot the vSOP host, or a manual intervention by Escaux Support.
