Database Server (DPP1)

Description

This probe verifies that the database server process is running. It simply checks that the process appears in the process table, no application level test is done to see if the server is actually working.

Alarms

This probe can report following alarm states:

• CRITICAL: The mysqld process is not running.

Possible causes

• Database server crashed
• Disk is full

Possible consequences

If the database server doesn't run, following functions will not work:

• Basic telephony when using STARTDYNAMICAPPLICATION.
• netDesktop, netConsole

Possible actions

• Reboot the SOP
• Contact Escaux
