SNOMM9 (SDOA)

Description

This resource allows to connect up to 9 DECT on a SNOM M9 base station.

Resource configuration parameters

  • IPEI number: This is the DECT-equivalent of a MAC-address, to find this number, look under the battery of the phone
  • Handset Display Name: This text will be shown on the display of the phone
  • RSS feed : the name, followed by the URL of the RSS feed (comma separated)

Technical information

  • A handset can be registered to the basestation by following this procedure:
    • Shut down the handset (press on the red button for a few seconds)
    • Place the handset in the charger
    • Create one resource per handset
      • MAC address is the MAC address of the base station.
      • IPEI is a 10 character address under the battery of the phone
      • Assign one unique Handset ID per handset.
    • Reboot the basestation (press the button on the back of the basestation) (this will cut ongoing conversations on the basestation)
    • Wait for the basestation to reboot (the 'registered' led should be on)
    • Within five minutes after the basestation has booted, turn on the handset
  • Replacing a handset can be done as following:
    • Replace the IPEI number of the old handset by the IPEI number of the new one on the SMP
    • Apply the changes. Once done, reboot the basestation so it takes the new configuration
    • register the handset
  • You can Factory reset your handset and your base station using one handset.
    • The default PIN is 0000
    • Reset handset : [Main menu > Settings > Handset > Reset handset]
    • Reset base : [Main menu > Settings > Handset > Reset base]
