Resource configuration parameters

This resource allows an administrator to configure the FXO interface of a Cisco SPA3102. An FXO interface is an interface which connects to the standard analog line either from your telephony operator or from an internal pbx.

In case of an external analog line connected to your operator:

  • Create an external number in the 'external number mapping (incoming)' interface and associate it to an internal extension
  • Indicate this external number in the Incoming extension field.
  • Indicate 'Incoming' in the Incoming Restriction Group field.

In case of an internal analog line connected to another internal pbx:

  • Indicate an internal extension in the Incoming extension field.
  • Indicate 'NoRestrict' in the Incoming Restriction Group field or another suitable Restriction Group.

Other parameters:

  • Hangup Signal: When detected, the analog communication is terminated. Please contact your pbx or telephony provider in case the default value of 425 Hz does not work. Ask for the 'information tones' specification.
  • Answer Delay (seconds): Number of seconds to wait before answering the line (default = 4)
