Template Management
The SMP now offers the possibility to use multiple templates. This solves some issues:
- Different versions of templates
- Different types of clients (example: a template with and without netDesktop)
- ...
From now on, the default configuration you receive with a new sopkey, will be empty (it used to be the master template). This empty configuration will remind you of the fact that you need to import a template before getting started.
Template types
Public template
This is a template that is managed by the SMP administrator (example: Escaux). Only accounts with access rights smp admin or higher can publish or change these templates
Local template
This kind of template typically is managed by a reseller. The reseller can publish and change his local templates, but it can only be imported on servers that have the same account code as the reseller ( If your server's name is escaux-srv1 (production), the account code is 'escaux')
