FAQ

How to upgrade to UC Template 3 a customer having Fax over IP configured on UC Template 2?

Configure all ATA boxes and fax extensions on the SOP where the fax are coming in (gateway) and enable T.38 for critical fax machines. Note that you can enable T.38 only on 1 of 2 ports.

Fax over MeshSipTrunk is not supported and will not work.

How to keep the original caller id for internal calls forwarded to external (CFU, CFB, forward to alternative number,...)?

This will be fixed in UC Template 3.0.5 for CFU.

For CFB the CallerID is currently always set to the transferrer one.

For other kinds of forwards the CallerID is currently never changed.

See the UC Template 3.0 feature list for the up-to-date documentation.

How to keep the original caller id for internal calls blind transferred to external?

This is not possible. You should always configure "Set the transferrers caller number".
