Description

Per-appliance module for the virtual fax software. Provides the features of a virtual fax: sending any PC document as a fax and receiving faxes as e-mails. For each appliance that needs the virtual fax, add one here.

Limitations

• The Fax Server is a class 1 / group 3 fax, speed is limited to 9.6 kbps in reception and 14.4 kbps in transmission.

• Fax communication being degraded by VoIP transmission, we recommend to install the Fax Server on the server who receives the incoming calls. Moreover, when faxing is business critical, we recommend to use classical TDM connectivity rather than SIP trunking.

• Email to fax needs the ability to alter the DNS records used by your mail server in order to redirect the fax subdomains to the Fax Server. Only A4 - portrait is supported
