Notes about licenses for IP Doorphones:
- (0) For security reasons, the HELIOS Enhanced Security License (including SIP & RTP over TLS) is required by Dstny for all 2N Helios IP doorphones.
- As TLS is supported by default since 2N firmware 2.35 released in August 2022, the item PD1330 is now end-of-sales.
- All 2N Helios IP doorphones require a LAN or an IP-VPN between the doorphone and the IP-PBX. If you need to connect a doorphone via a public Internet connection (not recommended and not supported anymore by Destiny), choose preferably an analog doorpone and an ATA converter.
- (1) The HELIOS Video License is valid for one Helios IP doorphone. It enables a permanent video streaming via RTSP from the Helios IP camera to the 2N IP Eye application or another video streaming client (eg VLC Media Player).
- Since January 2022, the Video license is added by Destiny on all Helios IP doorphones with camera. It was already included by default with the Helios IP Vario with Camera (PD1004, PD1009, PD1011, PD1021: see above table).
- Since August 2022, the Helios Video license is end-of-sales and replaced by the Helios Gold License (PD1307).
- (2) The HELIOS Enhanced Integration License (PD1302) is valid for one Helios IP doorphone. It enables to unlock the door by sending an HTTP command, in stead of sending a secret (DTMF) code from a remote phone or from the doorphone (default method). The HTTP command to unlock the door can typically be sent by a remote application (eg 2N IP Eye) or by a 2N Helios badge/card reader or even by a specific call flow of the IP-PBX. This license is also required by the optional IP Security Relay.
- (3) The HELIOS Gold License, including all Video, Integration & Security licenses, is provided by default with the Helios IP Vario with Camera (PD1004, PD1009, PD1011, PD1021: see above table).
- (4) The 2N Helios IP Security Relay is an optional IP relay to be placed inside the building, to prevent someone from abusively triggering the electric lock from outside. This relay requires the Enhanced Integration License (PD1302) (see note 2).
- (5) The HELIOS IP Verso and HELIOS IP Solo include by default 1 digital input on the basic unit. This digital input can be used (as an InputChanged Event) to trigger a phone call (ie a BeginCall action), by an external dry contact (ie a simple Normaly Open push button or an electric relay).

- The 2N® Helios IP Security Relay is an optional IP relay to be placed inside the building to enhance the security between the IP doorphone and the electric lock. This security relay can be activated only if a valid opening code is received from the intercom.
