Introduction
There are two completely different way to use Sangoma cards with Escaux UCS solution.
The older solution used Zaptel for the integration with Asterisk. This solution supports baseline 1 and baseline 2.
The new one, called
NetBorder, is using a SIP trunk to communicate with Asterisk.
With the NetBorder solution, PRI, BRI and FXS port are completly abstracted from Asterisk point of view.
NetBorder is only avalaible on Baseline 2.
For new installation, we recommend you to always use NetBorder when it's possible (See
ISDN and analogue connectivity options).
