Target audience
The administrator training for the Escaux Unified Communication Solution (UCS) is targeted at the administrators of the end solution. They will learn basic tasks like adding and modifying users and phones, but also study the UCS solution in-depth with an architectural overview and the powerful callflow system to modify and add services and functionality.
Goal of the training
This training gives the participants an overview of the management and administration of an Escaux UCS solution deployment. The training starts with a high level overview of the architecture and components of a UCS deployment, continues with a detailed description of each of the components that the solution uses and concludes with a number of troubleshooting examples. After the training, the participant is able to independently manage an Escaux UCS deployment and to reference online documentation for more information about specific items he encounters in his management tasks.
Contents of the training
In an interactive session, several topics will be handled both in theory as well as with sufficient examples to demonstrate all aspects of the subjects covered. The training starts with an introduction to basic concepts and architectural principles.
Introduction and architecture
The Escaux UCS solution has a unique architecture that is highlighted and studied in-depth in the initial part of the training. To make sure the level of base knowledge of IP telephony is equal between all participants, the course also provides a general explanation of IP telephony concepts.
